RESPECTING ROAD RESTRICTIONS

Road Restrictions

It is almost inevitable that you will encounter a road or highway along a trail at some point. That is why it is important to be aware of what roads you are allowed to operate on, in a given area. These restrictions are in place to ensure your safety as well as the safety of others.

Snowmobile Route signs are used to tell riders if they are allowed to ride on or cross a particular road.  If there is no sign you may not ride!

Check with local law enforcement for snowmobile road restrictions in your area.

IMPORTANT! Snowmobiles may NOT operate on a Federal Interstate or cross any four lane highway unless otherwise indicated.
